We trade primarily in UK and Ireland sourced hides and skins with a particular emphasis on render / casualty cattle hides. Currently we are one of the largest exporters of such material in Ireland. In addition, we also trade in abattoir hides and skins with numerous contacts & suppliers in Ireland and the UK.
We source and supply from origin the highest quality render / casualty skins dealing with multiple suppliers. All hides and skins are brought back to our factory, which was previously an abattoir, and meticulously sorted, separated and graded to exact specifications as required by our customers who are based all over the world but mainly in continental Europe and the Far East.
We handle large quantities of produce without compromising on the quality of our end product as highlighted by the number of repeat customers and long-standing business relationships we have with agents, traders and tanneries worldwide.
We cater for all requirements and weight ranges to suit our customers needs from small calfskins through to large hides. Attention to detail and strict grading of material facilitated through an in-depth knowledge of the industry and buoyed by over 30 years’ experience are hallmarks of how we operate and has led to the continued success and growth of the business.
Through our multiple contacts, we also have the capability to cater for bespoke orders and requests for niche markets such as trading in horse hides and / or tails.
Our own background in animal collection has left us uniquely placed in that we have a thorough understanding and involvement in all parts of the production process from animal collection to skinning, trimming, salting, grading and packaging of hides and skins for supply to tanneries. Our renowned attention to detail and knowledge in all aspects of the process means our customers can trust and rely on our ability to deliver exactly on their requirements in timelines specified.
